How to send children's books from melbourne to Lake Toba?
Forty children of Silimalombu village are very keen on reading but have no access to books so we have created a library. Now we are collecting books - mainly picture books with few words so that they can start to learn to read in English. Vinnies in Nimbin had a box of books out the front being given away for free so I collected suitable books and have now asked the manager of Garuda airlines whether they will help me transport these to Lake Toba. Am waiting on Garuda's response.
